Dear Mr. Flickinger,

Thank you for the best two years of ceramics class I have ever had. When you
first arrived last year I didn't know what to expect. After just a week of class, I found
that you were more than a ceramics teacher. You became a role model for me which was
especially important in times of'stress during my senior year. It's a shame that not many
people thank you for your effort especially when you moved your whole studio to school.

Not many teachers take time out of their weekends to do so much for their students and
their program. Everyone in your ceramics 2 class is strongly appreciative of all the work
you've done and all the help you have given us. I hope to continue our relationship while
I am at college. Thanks again for everything you've done and especially turning the art
department around.
